ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

  • Mahendra Arts & Science College (Autonomous) Alumni Association was duly registered on 26.08.2013 under the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 27 of.1975.
  • Although the Alumni Association of Mahendra Arts & Science College was functioning from the beginning of the institution, the association was duly registered and started functioning officially from 2013. Being an integral part of our college, the association is doing yeoman service to the college. The alumni meet has been conducted annually. It takes part in all major activities of the college, rendering a helping hand to the students. The following is the list of Alumni activities undertaken by the association.
  • The Alumni serves the institution in many ways. The Alumni serves as a member in the Board of Studies thereby gives suggestion for the enrichment of the curriculum according to the need of the current industry. Regular Career guidance programme is conducted for the present students. Face-to-face session with the present students by the alumni goes a long way to discuss the current scenario of the job market. A couple of alumni serve as lecturers in our college after acquiring the required experience and expertise in teaching.
  • The Alumni-conducted Motivational sessions for the current batch of students are of immense help. They are the resource persons for some of the seminars and workshops Also they indulge in delivering guest lectures. The alumni entrepreneurs encourage the students by explaining the scope of entrepreneurship in future. Regular updates about the latest technological developments are posted through social networks. Placement training is offered free of cost to the present batch of students. The alumni-run IT sector business conduct on-campus placement drives.
  • The institution on its part encourages the alumni activities to a greater extent. It makes it a point that the alumni participation is present in all the college activities. The alumni render its support in all possible ways to help in the development of the college. They are in constant touch with the college throughout the year.

  • To have continuous interaction with the present students for updating the industry requirement and career opportunities.
  • To equip the present students with the career opportunities available in market.
  • To utilize the Alumni expertise for the development of the institution.
  • To include the Alumni in the preparation of syllabus as members of the statutory committees.
  • To make the Alumni know the latest developments in the institution.
  • To give placement training to the present students.

  To foster high-level ideas needed by the association to the meeting and to give due advice to the executive committee members to implement them for the benefit of the association.
2. DR.S.BALAMURUGAN President   சங்க ஊழியர்களின் வேலைகளையும், நிர்வாகக்குழு உறுப்பினர்களின் அலுவல்கையும் கண்காணித்தல். சங்க நிர்வாகக் குழு உறுப்பினர்களின் ஒற்றுமையுடன் சங்கத்தின் சகல காரியங்களையும் சங்க சட்ட திட்டங்களுக்கு உட்படுத்தி நடத்தி வைப்பார்.சங்க நலனுக்காக சுயநலமில்லாமல் உழைத்தல்.

  Monitoring the work of the association employees and the performance of the executive committee members. With the unity of the members of the management committee of the association, he will manage all the affairs of the association subject to the legal plans of the association. Working selflessly for the welfare of the association.
3. Mr.R.SELVAKUMAR Vice - President   சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் பொறுப்பில் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள பொறுப்புகளையும், அதிகாரங்களையும், சங்கத்தின் நோக்கங்களையும் தலைவர் நிறைவேற்றுவதில் அவருக்கு உதவியாக இருந்து துணை புரிந்து வரவேண்டும்.

  The Vice-President assists the President in fulfilling the responsibilities, powers and objectives of the Association as stated in the President's responsibility.
